Hardcore Pokemon Hentai
In general, hentai doujin works are created by taking characters, that an audience might not only recognize, but be attached to, and placing them in erotic, or even hardcore hentai, situations. Still, there are some popular media franchises one cannot even begin to imagine this process working on. One of them is Pokemon. Leave it to the imagination of doujin circles, though, and anything is possible. The fact that Pokemon hentai exists at all is proof of that.
Many popular media franchises lend themselves very well to being parodied as hentai titles. The popular fighting games, for example, often feature extremely well endowed female characters in skimpy costumes which are easy to reinterpret as hardcore hentai entities. Pokemon, though, doesn’t exactly fit into this category. Or does it? Apparently, for the American release of the original manga, the lead female character had to be redrawn in many instances because her breasts were considered much too large for a family friendly title. There was also much controversy over a nude scene or two that had to be edited or removed for the American release of the Pokemon manga. Apparently it takes very little for doujin circles to pick up the ball and run with it.
