It’s quite amazing to look at the difference between some of the first attempts at hardcore hentai anime and the works by those well versed in the genre today. Older shows featured more story than sex, often, and the erotic scenes were usually quite straightforward. The missionary position was the order of the day and not much more was to be seen in an host of videos from that early era of hardcore. Hentai manga and video today is a completely different ball game. Some modern videos have ingeniously woven their story and sex scenes together to the point where they are, rightly, inseparable. Where one begins and the other ends becomes a question.
Hardcore hentai videos today go much further than anything seen years ago. This doesn’t mean, however, they are less developed and only feature more action than older works. In fact, many feature much more involved stories than earlier titles because, rather than being one shots like their predecessors, they are often done as two or more part series. Modern hentai anime is also not afraid to show anything. While creators realize that the dreaded censor will be required, they go ahead and put what they want, or perhaps what audiences want, on screen, where older titles avoided things that were sure to get censored. The future of hardcore hentai manga and anime will be a very interesting subject if these trends continue.
