Hardcore Hentai Monsters
One thing that separates hardcore hentai artwork from, probably, all other forms of adult entertainment out there, is the appearance of fantastical elements such as strange creatures and monsters. The idea of female characters being raped by, or otherwise thrown into relations with, demons, monsters and tentacles seems to be widely appealing to fans of hentai media. This may, however, be something that grew on the audience over time. Early hardcore hentai works were very simplistic, usually set in the real world, and offered up very realistic characters. Things, however, rather quickly began to change.
At first, it seemed that more and more fantastical elements were being added to mostly real world adult stories. Soon, though, full blown science fiction and fantasy stories, of the hardcore hentai variety, were appearing in manga and animation. With them, came a more direct insertion, so to speak, of monsters, aliens and other fantastical elements. This also made the concept easier to accept to audiences since monsters, for example, were already a staple of the fantasy genre. At this point, the appearance and use of monsters in hentai is very well established, and likely here to stay.
